Never miss a Show again
Schedule the Recording of your favorite programs and simply take them with you - that is the flexibility of The Tube
I you manually start a recording, The Tube 2.0 will automatically stop the recording, as soon as the program is over. And The Tube 2.0 simplifies the overall recording process. Once you have a program scheduled for a recording in the EPG, The Tube automatically grays out any other shows during that time slot, so there won't be any problems with overlapping. Even if the computer is in sleep mode when a recording is scheduled, The Tube will wake the computer up when the recording begins and switch it back to sleep once the recording has finished.
With The Tube you don't have to be at your computer to start your recordings: Just choose your favorite TV shows in the EPG or manually enter the time and the channel to record and The Tube will take care of the rest.
To add a recording to your schedule just click the grey circle in front of the show. The Tube will display a red dot beside every scheduled recording in your EPG list. You can view all of your scheduled recordings by clicking the recordings button. Currently running recordings are highlighted in red.
While choosing the TV shows you want to record, The Tube will warn you if there is a conflict between your scheduled recordings. A yellow sign with an exclamation mark will be shown if a conflict exists with another scheduled recording. Once you've decided which show you would prefer to record, you can remove the other one by dragging and dropping it out of the window.
If you don't want to see the signs, just choose the option to not display shows that aren't recordable due to a conflict. Isn't that cool?
With The Tube you're able to start recording a TV show from the beginning even if it has already started. With Déjà Vu you only have to jump back to where you want to start and press record. Read more about Déjà Vu recordings.
If you just want to manually record a TV show, just hit the record button on the lower right sight of the TV window. As soon as you stop your recording, The Tube displays a dialog with the show's details which it already fills with all the information available from the EPG.
