Great mobile cable for charging
I really love unique solutions for charging my devices. As such, I’m always on the lookout for new products that fit this niche. equinux, a German-based company known for solutions for Apple and mobile devices, recently released their tizi line of products in the U.S. and with that came the Schlingel. tizi Schlingel is a unique little cable that allows you to always have a Lighting cable with you. Schlingel bends into a loop that can easily be attached to a keychain, purse, backpack or other carrying case for easy, on-hand charging access. This cable was designed for the ‘forgetful’ ones in the world. Once you attach it to objects you always have with you, you’ll never be without a charging cable. Something very unique to the tizi line of products is the ‘Flip’ technology. No matter what which way you attempt to insert the USB end of a tizi cable, it will go in. Schlingel is MFi certified and will charge and sync your Apple devices. FIRST IMPRESSIONS/UTILITY Of course the first thing I noticed about this little wonder was its unique loop-look. I was immediately drawn to in and couldn’t wait to take it with me everywhere. I was a little hesitant to connect it to something like a purse, but since that’s what it is made for, I took a chance. I carry a wristlet wallet with me every where and I decided to hook the Schlingel up to it. Even though the USB end slips easily out of its pocket when its time to charge your device, it doesn’t budge when it’s hanging from a bag. When the cable is extended and not in loop form, it’s about 6 inches long, which is great for times that you just need a quick charge and don’t want to bring out your 1-meter long, Apple-provided Lightning cable. Besides the style and transportation of the Schlingel, it is also a very good charging cable. In about 10 minutes, I gained 7% battery life. That is comparable to a standard Apple cable. CONCLUSIONS I would recommend the tizi Schlingel to anyone who is on the go. It’s a great mobile addition for charging your devices. It transports easily and works wonderfully. It is a little pricier than a standard Apple Lightning, but it’s well worth it for the added functionality and unique style of the Schlingel.     I hooked this little gizmo on the strap of my handbag and forgot it was there until I was away from home and needed a charge. I didn’t even have to dig for it at the bottom of my “Mary Poppins” bag either which was quite convenient. It works very well and appears to be a quality item.

    Initially I submitted a 2* reveiw for the product as I found it sub par and not fit for purpose. within 3 days of writing the review I was contacted my a member of the Equinux customer service team who informed me I had an older version of the item and that the problems I outlined were resolved in a newer version and arranged to have mine replaced asap... fantastic customer service, really felt like a valued customer. 10/10 would buy from them again!

    It's a novel idea and I was really looking forward to using it but the way the product is put together makes it completely useless.

    None of the moving parts clip together properly so the whole thing falls apart and unraveles from the keychain at the slightest jostle. Lost it the first day I used it.
