"Big Plus: Great Integration with .Mac"
Pete Zwanenburg is selling mostly old vintage toys on eBay. Most of them are H0 scale trains, Märklin, Lima and other brands. Pete also sells tin toys and diecasts.
"I started out on eBay long ago in 2000. And I started to sell serious in March 2006. I was a Matchbox collector, and by selling my double models I noticed there was a living to be made on eBay if you really wanted and tried hard enough, and with some luck – and the selling of my car – I had enough money to make a good start.
"A Mac is the only computer I want"
I'm always sort of busy, making packages in the morning, trying to find more items to sell across half the country, making listings and putting them up on eBay at night. In between the many questions from buyers that have to be answered, I guess on an average I am busy with eBay for at least 7 hours a day. I'm using a Mac because it's the only computer I want to use, the easy way you do things, exactly like you think they should be done on a computer, and the high security without a virus alert every minute. It also does help a lot that every Mac is a good looking machine, I like the design.
"Get a lot of compliments about my listings"
I found out about iSale when I was looking for a good program to make good looking listings in an easy way, and fast. Having good looking listings is a big plus on eBay! The professional look attracts customers, and gives a good indication that you're a serious seller. I get a lot of compliments from people about my listings. Another big plus for me is the great integration with the .Mac account I have, pictures hosting and supersizing them is free that way, since eBay charges pretty high prices for that. So you won't hear me complaining about the .Mac price, even if I had to upgrade because the traffic went over 5GB a month."
