To find saved recording faster and easier, simply search by name or date and search for keywords in the description texts, to help you easily narrow your search. Users can even search via Spotlight, now that all recordings are saved in the Movies folder. And those TV watchers, using Mac OS X 10.5 can take advantage of the Leopard QuickLook feature and find all necessary recording details at a glance.

As soon as you stop a recording The Tube opens a dialogue window to store the information of your recording. The Tube automatically fills in the available EPG-information but you can add more if you want. Need another thumbnail? Just drag and drop your own picture in the window and save it.

Recordings are listed within The Tube in a graphical overview and are saved with a preview thumbnail picture. As soon as you stop recording a window opens up so you can add any additional information such as the episode title or a content description. If you want you can change the automatic preview picture by simply dragging and dropping in a new one! You can start playback, display the recording's information or export your clips to Apple TV, iPod or as a DV-file for iMovie via the context menu.
