The integrated "Send via email account" feature in Mail Designer 365 allows you to send your finished templates directly to recipients via your own email address.
This is a great option if you are sending an email to up to 100 recipients - for example, an internal staff email - but don't want to use an external sending service. If you wish to send to more recipients, you may need to consider an
email service provider, as most email clients limit users to 100 emails per day.
If you want to send a bulk email to multiple addresses (i.e. from a .csv file), you will first need to ensure the email addresses are separated using commas. E.g:
grace@example.com, lisa@example.com, adam@example.com, etc.
Alternatively, if you have set up
pre-defined recipient groups, you can carry out the following steps to paste it into Mail Designer 365:
- Open the Mail app and go to "New Message"
- Type in the group name and hit enter to expand the group and view its recipients
- Hit cmd + a to select all and hit cmd + c to copy the email addresses to your clipboard
- Go to the send tool in Mail Designer 365 and hit cmd + v to paste the list into the BCC field as comma-separated email addresses
You can now proceed to send your template to your entire list.
